Using new P-TS7 R2 (rev 2) component hardware in existing Paradigm systems

In October 2024, ETC released P-TS7 R2 (rev 2) touchscreens with new component hardware including the following new part numbers:

7184A1542-X (P-TS7-E)
7184K1042-X (P-TS7-E kit)
7184A1561 (P-TS7-P)
7184A1562 (P-TS7-PE)
7184A1563 (P-TS7-H)

They initially released with v5.1.4 firmware which is compatible with Paradigm systems running v5.1.3. Shortly after ETC released additional firmware (v4.2.11 and v5.0.5) that allowed them to function in any system running v4.x or v5.x software. The P-TS7 R2 is also fully compatible with v6.0.0 and higher systems.

P-TS7 R2 hardware cannot be loaded with any pre-6.x firmware other than v4.2.11, v5.0.5, or v5.1.4, else it will result in either the unit failing to boot or its touch being non-functional.
