Cobalt has Detected a Potential Problem
Symptoms
When programming in Cobalt version 8.2+, you receive a dialog prompt that reads:
Potential problem
An invalid situation has been detected and corrected.
Additional data has been saved to help the developer to understand the problem.
Please save log files to USB and report to cobalt@etcconnect.com
Explanation
Cobalt has detected that something that had the potential to corrupt/damage the show file integrity has occurred, but was prevented. Because we want to be sure to protect against future situations where this might occur, we've logged extra data to be analyzed by the developers.
Solution
- You can continue programming normally
- When it is convenient, please save the log files to USB using the Browser>Files>Copy Log Files to USB command
- Email those log files to cobalt@etcconnect.com
