Emphasis IP Address Fix for Version 17 and 19 -- Fixes Face Panel IP and Connection Problems

This workaround should be performed on Systems 17 and 19 only.
This should be performed on all servers in the field running these versions of software.  (defects were fixed in the next public release.)

IMPORTANT: It is important that you follow these steps EXACTLY.  This may seem like a lot of steps.  Don't panic.  It is simple to perform and only takes about 5 minutes.  You also seem to do the same series of steps twice.  This is correct and it is intentional.  The first time deletes the misinformation and corrects the IP addresses.  The second time writes the corrected information into the facepanel memory.

Where to begin:
You MUST perform all of the steps.
Start with the facepanel off.
The server should be on.
If you have nodes running Net 2, Version 3, start at the beginning.
If you don't have nodes, begin at Step 3.

The workaround:

Step 1:  Configure your Nodes using NCE login on the server.  (Nodes should have their unique IP addresses and be configured for the site.)
Step 2:  Exit the NCE Application (it will take you to the logins)
Step 3:  Log into Tech Services on the Server. (Call ETC Tech Services for password.)
Step 4:  From Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\etc\nodesbin.  Delete the "bootptab" file if it exists. ***The easiest way to get to Explorer is:  press & hold windows button and press e***
Step 5:  From Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\programfiles\etc\ETCNet2Services.
Step 6:  Execute the batch file in that directory ...bootptab.bat. A screen will come up with "This program will generate a bootPtab File… Press any key to continue…"
Step 7: Press any key.  Screen will do a few things and come up with last line of "This host now Primary bootp Server."
Step 8: Turn on the facepanel (or reboot if it is on)--wait until it is fully booted.
Step 9: The last line on the server pop up window will be "emphfp.bin version…"
Step 10: Press any key. bootptab.bat file will restart Net2 services and exit out of the window.
Step 11: From Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\etc\nodesbin and open the file "bootptab".  You should select which program to use to open it.  Use Notepad.
Step 12: Change the LAST line in the IP addresses from 10.101.50.xxx to 10.101.45.101 (or whatever you want the facepanel's IP address to be)
Step 13: Save file and exit Notepad.
Step 14: From Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\program files\etc\ETCNet2Services.
Step 15:  Execute the batch file in that directory ...bootptab.bat. A screen will come up with "This program will generate a bootPtab File… Press any key to continue…"
Step 16: Press any key.  Screen will do a few things and come up with last line of "This host now Primary bootp Server."
Step 17: Turn off the facepanel and then back on--wait until it is fully booted.  This step writes the correct information into the facepanel.
Step 18: The last line on the server pop up window will be "emphfp.bin version…"
Step 19: Press any key. bootptab.bat file will restart Net2 services and exit out of the window.
