Element console clicks when powering on or off

Symptoms/Issue

Console has an audible click when powering on and off

Explanation of Issue

The power supply is the source of the click and is normal. The click is caused by a relay in the power supply.

This affects Ion and Element consoles which had the power supply replaced, including Windows 7 upgrades and rebuilds, between December 2020 and February 2021.
