Apex Button Module OLED 1x10 Target Key in Bootloader Mode

Symptoms/Issue

Apex OLED 10x1 Button Module firmware is missing or needs to be reprogrammed

In bootloader mode, the 2nd and 3rd keys appear "snowy" or with "static":

In Eos Shell > Maintenance > Firmware Update, the Apex Button Module is listed with the words Bootloader and warning

"Cannot update other devices while any component is in bootloader mode"

Fix/Solution

This may occur due to a defect with the Face Panel Test in Eos v3.2.6: OLED Display Default Boot Image Bootloader on Eos Apex Consoles - Electronic Theatre Controls Inc

Power the Apex console off and back on to attempt recovery.

If the Apex Button Module is still listed in Bootloader mode after a power-cycle, contact ETC Technical Services.
