Restoring Cobalt / Congo Data to Eos v3.x

Switch from Eos version 3.x to Eos version 2.x
- The device will automatically boot into the Eos Family Selection Mode. Select {Eos ETCNomad}
- On the Eos ETCnomad Welcome Screen, click the {Settings} button to open the Eos Configuration Utility.
- In the Eos Configuration Utility, on the General tab, click the {Switch to Eos 2.#.#.##} button to switch from version 3.x to version 2.x
- Click {Ok} to confirm the switch.
Switch to Cobalt Mode from Eos
- On the Eos Welcome Screen, click the {Settings} button to open the Eos Configuration Utility
or
- In the Eos Configuration Utility, click the {Maintenance} button.
- Scroll down, then click {Switch to Cobalt Client}
- On the following popup, click the {Green Check Mark} to enable Cobalt Mode.
- The device will shut down and reboot into Cobalt Mode.
Restore Show File Archive
- Insert the USB drive you used to save your show files and settings.
- In System Settings click on the {Utilities} tab. Select {File Manager}.
- Double Click on the drive from the right hand side of the screen.
- Click on the shows that you wish to restore to highlight them and then click on the {<Copy} button to copy your old show files back on to the hard drive.
- When you are finished transferring show files, click {Done}.
Restore System Settings
- Insert the USB drive you used to save your show files and settings.
- In System Settings click on the {Utilities} tab. Select {Restore Settings}.
- Select the USB drive in the drop down menu. Optionally, you can choose to restore network settings by checking the box. Press {Ok}.
Restore User Template Library (from v7.1.x or later)
- Insert the USB drive you used to save your show files and settings.
- In System Settings click on the {Utilities} tab. Select {Restore User Template Library}.
- Select the appropriate template library to restore. Then, press {Ok}.
Switch Back to Eos
- Navigate to the {Update} tab.
- Tap {Switch to Eos Client...}.
- You will then be greeted with a prompt to Enable Eos Mode. Tap the Green Checkmark button to confirm.
- Once the device has rebooted back to Eos, you will need to switch back to Eos v3.0
- Navigate out to the shell (if not already there).
- Navigate to {Settings}>{General}.
- At the bottom of the screen, there will be a button that says {Switch to Eos v2.9.x.x...}. Tap that, then tap {Ok} an the console will reboot.
