Re-Image Instructions | Net3 RVI with Dual-DVI Splitter| No Backup/Restore

1. Power off your console.
2. Insert the USB Re-Imaging Drive (provided by ETC) into one of the USB ports on the rear of the console. 
3. Ensure your USB keyboard is inserted into a rear USB port as well.
4. Begin repeatedly tapping the [Delete] key on your USB keyboard. While repeatedly tapping [Delete], power on the console. Continue to tap [Delete] until the console boots to the gray and blue Boot screen.
5. When the BIOS opens, arrow down to {Advanced BIOS Features} and press [Enter].
6. Arrow down to {Hard Disk Boot Priority} and press [Enter].
7. Select {USB-HDD0:…} from the menu and press [+] on your keyboard until it is at the top of the list.
8. Press the [Escape] key twice. Press [F10] to save the settings, then [Y], and finally [Enter] to confirm.
    

The name of the USB drive may be different than pictured here. The image drive will typically be the drive that is indented. Do not select the lines beginning with "Ch3" or "Bottable..."

9. The console will reboot through the following screens:

10. Once the console gets to the purple screen, press any key to continue.

1. Turn off NumLock on your keyboard.
2. A screen asking you to choose your device type will appear.
   1. Press [V] on your USB keyboard to select "RVI".
3. A screen asking you to choose what type of RVI you have will appear.
   1. Press [1] to select "One DVI Splitter"
4. A screen asking you to choose which type of video card your RPU has will appear.
   1. Take a look at the back of the console.
      1. If there is a label that says "FIREMV 2270 Video Card":
         1. Press [S] for "RVI ATI 2270".
      2. If there is not a label:
         1. Press [T] for "RVI ATI 2200".

5. The image will now be applied. Do not power off the console during this time.
6. After 10-15 minutes, the following screen will appear. Press any key on your USB keyboard to continue and your console will reboot.

1. Once your console has powered off, begin repeatedly tapping the [Delete] key on your USB keyboard. While repeatedly tapping [Delete], power on the console. Continue to tap [Delete] until the console boots to BIOS.
2. When the BIOS opens, arrow down to {Advanced BIOS Features} and press [Enter].
3. Arrow down to {Hard Disk Boot Priority} and press [Enter].
4. Select {Ch3 S…} from the menu and press [+] on your keyboard until it is at the top of the list.
5. Press the [Escape] key twice. Press [F10] to save the settings, then [Y], and finally [Enter] to confirm. The console will reboot.
    

1. The console will boot into the Automated Console Setup Utility. After a few more minutes, it will initialize and begin installing software from the imaging USB drive.
2. The console will reboot into the Automated Console Setup Utility several times while it installs various software and configures various components.

3. The console will boot up into the Eos Family Software and the imaging process will be complete.
4. The Eos Family USB Imaging Drive can now be removed.

5. Once the re-image process is complete, you will need to load the latest version of Eos software from the installer archive.
   1. Exit out to the Shell.
      1. Double-tap the [Displays] key to open the Browser and double-click the line that says Exit.
      2. Tap {OK} when prompted.
   2. Once in the Shell, tap on {Settings} and navigate to {General} on the right.
   3. Tap {Software Update...}.
   4. Select the latest version of software at "D:\InstallerArchive\ETC_EosFamily_v2.9.X.X.exe" and tap {Install}.
   5. Follow the prompts on the screen to install the software.
   6. After installation has completed, the device will restart.
