Downgrading to an earlier version of Eos Family software

Explanation

To downgrade your Eos Family software to a previous version, you must first uninstall the current version, then run the installer for the older version you want to use.

Steps to Solution

  1. Select Software Update from the General tab of the shell settings. Select the installer for the version of software that you are currently running. If it was archived when it was installed, you will see it in the list, otherwise, use Software Search to locate the version you need and put it on a USB drive to install from.

    Note: if downgrading ETCNomad software on Mac or PC, use your respective platform's typical software uninstallation process instead.
     
  2. When prompted by the installer, select Remove and complete the installation.
  3. When the installer is finished, let it restart your device.
  4. Once the device has been restarted, install the version of software you need to run.
