EOS Console only boots into User Login screen (Admin or Console)

Issue

My Eos family console does not boot to the Shell (Eos E.C.U.) / Eos software but instead shows the User Login screen with two buttons: Admin on the left and the console on the right.

NOTE: This screen can also be reached by clicking the <Log Out> button in Settings.  Later versions of EOS have this button in the Maintenance tab of Settings, but earlier versions have <Log Out> as a main tab button within Settings.

Solution

Clicking on the right User button ("IonXe" in this example) should start the Shell and / or Eos application normally. This will be necessary on every boot however. To fix this permanently, please contact ETC Technical Support - see "Related Links".
