Toggle External Keyboard From Alphanumeric to Hotkeys

Issue

I want to use the external keyboard connected to my Eos family console as hotkeys instead of an alphanumeric keyboard.

Solution

Press F8 on your external keyboard to toggle between hotkeys and alphanumeric. F8 enables "Command Edit Mode". While in this mode, red text is displayed above the command line reading "Command Edit Mode: F8/Ctrl8 to disable".
