MicroVision FX Placing Channels at Full on Bootup Console
Problem
When turning on the console, several channels pop on to full. This only happens when I have a show loaded into the console. When I have do not have a show loaded it does not happen.
Solution
Turn off the Chase unit.
The chase unit on this console chases whatever is in Sub masters 1 thru 6. (Or whichever number of steps are selected, 2 thru 6)
If the chase unit is on Audio it is looking for an audio source to clock over to the next step, without a source connected it looks as if those channels assigned to those subs are locked on.
Then on boot up these channels will pop to full.
Solution is to turn off the chase unit and switch the rate to rate or both so that if the chase gets turned on it is more apparent.
