Why won't my SD card work with my SmartFade ML console?

Issue

I've just purchased a new SD card for use with my SmartFade console, but it fails to save or load a show.

Explanation of Issue

This most likely has to do with the size of the SD card. SmartFade and SmartFade ML consoles running 3.0.0 software or lower only support non-SDHC (2GB or less) cards. Consoles running 3.0.1 or higher do support SDHC (up to 32GB). If you're running earlier software you can either update the software or acquire a non-SDHC card.

Certain brands classify 2GB as SDHC while other brands do not. ETC recommends using 1GB or less as a result.
