Symptoms/Issue

Battery reading a low voltage (<8.5V)

If the Batt. Exer. jumper is on the OFF position, the battery is not used and does not matter what the voltage is.

The battery is a standard 9V battery and can be purchased from any store that sells 9V batteries. If the jumper is set to OFF, then a battery is not required for normal operation of the controller.
