Changing lamps from incandescent to LED

Symptoms/Issue

I'm changing my lamps from Incandescent to LED.  Do I need to change anything on the dimmer rack? 

Description/Explanation of Issue

That's not a simple answer. There are a wide variety of LED lamps available, in varied shapes and sizes. 

To help navigate the waters of LED retrofits, we have an LED Compatibility Database. This database shows test data for any lamp we've tested. Because of the how fast LED technology changes, we only display test data that is a year old or less. 

If you have an LED lamp in mind that isn't on our database, from the same link above you have the option to send us some samples to test.
