Terminating DMX Over Cat5 Wiring with IDC

Preparation:
The DMX IDC Termination kit is part number 4100A1013
Required Tools:
- Flush-Cutting Diagonal Cutters
- Cat 5/6 Cable Jacket Wire Strippers
Topology:
- Less than 500M (1640 feet) of Category 5E per DMX Line.
- Daisy chain/linear topology
- Less than 32 devices per DMX line including the controller
- Notes as "D" or "X" cable type on ETC Submittal drawings.
The IDC kit will include 6 -4" wire ties and 2 IDC terminal headers.
