ArcSystem RDM Driver Does Not Respond to DMX or RDM
Symptoms/Issue
ArcSystem RDM Driver (in the D1, D2, or D4 package) no longer responds to DMX or RDM. If present, the DMX Status light blinks once per second and the Link light remains off. The Driver is not find-able via RDM through Concert, Eos Software, DMXCat, etc.
Description/Explanation of Issue
On rare occasions the ArcSystem RDM driver may lose its configuration after a power event such as a large power spike to the system. If it does not respond to DMX or RDM, it is not field-recoverable and must be reprogrammed by ETC Factory Service. In most cases, it is more cost-effective to purchase a replacement driver.
