No Color Control of Desire Fresnel in Expanded Mode

Question

Why can I not control color on my fixture when it's in Expanded mode? What is the Color Crossfade parameter for?

Answer

Expanded mode has a parameter called "mix" (Eos and our other fixture libraries refer to this as Color Crossfade) which switches it between Studio and RGB mode. If mix is set to zero, your fixture will only output varying temperatures of white. If mix is set to full, you'll regain complete color control. For architecural control software such as Mosaic, we recommend adjusting the default value of the parameter to 255, so you can color mix without worrying about that parameter.
