Desire Fixtures in Studio Mode Reset to Defaults After a Power Cycle

Symptoms/Issue

When I power off my S4 LED or Desire fixtures, they have lost their settings when they power back up.

Description/Explanation of Issue

This issue only affects fixtures that are being run in Studio mode, and will only occur when the source of data feeding the fixture and the fixture itself are powered off at the same time. So, for example, this could occur if you have a run of DMX going directly from your console to your fixtures, and you power both the fixtures and the console off at the same time.

This issue does not appear when either the fixtures or the source of data are powered off separately, and does not affect any fixture modes other than Studio.

Fix/Solution

This issue was resolved in fixture software version 1.8.1. To prevent your fixture from encountering this issue in the future, update it to the latest version via UpdaterAtor.
