Gadget II LED Status Indicators

What does the status of the LED on the Gadget II indicate?
Answer
Per the Gadget II Setup Guide:
Note that the LED states differ based on the generation of Gadget II that you own.
Any Gadget II CPU2 variant can be identified by a 'CPU2' designation on the underside of the unit.
Gadget II (First Generation)
A bi-color indicator LED is located next to the USB connection.
The LED indicates the connection status between Gadget II and your computer.
The LED illuminates in the following conditions:
- Solid red during USB enumeration.
- Solid green once enumerated (recognized as a USB device).
- Blinking green on receipt of a command from the USB host (Data being sent to/from program, active output).
- Slow blinking red while waiting for firmware.
- Rapid blinking red during firmware receipt/upgrade.
- Solid green once firmware upgrade is complete.
Gadget II (CPU 2)
- Solid red during USB enumeration.
- Solid green once enumerated (recognized as a USB device).
- Blinking green on receipt of a command from the USB host (Data being sent to/from program, active output).
- While waiting for firmware, no LED will be lit.
- Rapid blinking orange during firmware receipt/upgrade.
- Once the firmware upgrade is complete, no LED will be lit.
