Enclosure Types - FSMS

ETC offers three Fixed Speed Motor Starter (FSMS) enclosure options for controlling 3rd party or existing hoists, motors, curtain machines, or actuators as part of a larger ETC Rigging system.

All FSMS include:

  • 4x Limit Switch Inputs
  • Overload Contact Input (normally closed)
  • Slackline Input (groundout bar or normally closed contact)

All FSMS have the following options:

  • TTL Encoder Input
  • Quadrature Encoder Input
  • 10k Pot for positioning
  • 4-wire or 6-wire Load Cell Input (single or dual)
  • Motor Temp Input
  • Overspeed Brake Input
  • Fast Acting Brake Contact

FSMS 208V

  • Power Input: 120V or 208V only
  • 2.0 HP max, single motor hoists only
  • Hardwired or Pigtail Power Input
  • Hardwired or 9-pin CPC Control Input
  • Hardwired or Pigtail Motor Output
  • Hardwired Low Voltage Control Input

FSMS-T

  • Power Input: 120V, 208V, 400V, or 480V
  • 0.5 HP+, single motor or dual motor hoists
  • Hardwired or Pigtail Power Input
  • Hardwired or 9-pin CPC Control Input
  • Hardwired Motor Output
  • Hardwired Low Voltage Control Input
  • Optional independant motor and/or load brake control

FSMS with Breakout Terminal Enclosure

The FSMS with Breakout Terminal Enclosure connects the main enclosure to the Breakout Terminal Enclosure with a motor power pigtail, and low voltage hoist control cables. The breakout terminal inclosure is intended to mount on or adjacent to the hoist while allowing the main enclosure to mount in a more accessible location.

  • Power Input: 120V, 208V, 400V, or 480V
  • 0.5 HP+, single motor hoists only
  • Pigtail Power Input
  • 9-pin CPC Control Input
  • Hardwired Motor Output in Breakout Terminal Enclosure
  • Hardwired Low Voltage Control Input in Breakout Terminal Enclosure
  • Optional independant motor and/or load brake control
