Presets on QuickTouch

Position Presets

Presets are preprogrammed stopping points.

Each hoist can have one preset recorded on QuickTouch.

When a moving hoist reaches a preset position it stops movement.

If the up or down button is released and pressed again the hoist will continue movement past the preset position.

Recording and Deleting Presets

For Multi-hoist Control Stations Setting a preset can be created by any trained and authorized personnel.

It is possible to record preset locations for more than one hoist at a time.

To record a preset:

Step 1: Move the hoist (or hoists) to the desired position .

Step 2: Release the move button when the desired position is reached.

Step 3: Press and release the [Preset] button. Instructions appear on the LCD to press and hold the select buttons for the desired hoist(s).

Step 4: Press and hold the select buttons for all desired hoists for 5 seconds. The LEDs for those hoists will blink white during this time. After 5 seconds, all hoists with their select buttons pressed will have their current positions stored as presets. • Pressing [Clear] during record will deselect all hoists and abort the record operation.

To delete a preset:

Step 1: Press and release the [Preset] button. Instructions appear on the LCD to press and hold the select buttons for the desired hoist(s).

Step 2: Press and hold the select button(s) for the desired hoist(s) for a total of 10 seconds. At 5 seconds, another preset record will happen for all selected hoists. Continue holding the button(s) for another 5 seconds and the presets will be deleted for all selected hoists.

Pressing [Clear] during the delete sequence will deselect all hoists and abort the operation.
