Cannot map DMX output to widget (internal Gadget II) on a Gig Hog
Description
In some cases, GadgetDrvChange.exe may fail to reinstall the Hog driver when Hog PC launches. When this occurs, the Gadget II will not appear in the Control Panel, and the DMX option will not be available in the Output Mapping window of the Processor Settings.
If you encounter this issue, try manually running GadgetDrvChange.exe. (C:\Program Files\ETC\HogPC\GadgetDrvChange)
Once the driver has been installed correctly, the Gadget II should appear in the Control Panel, and the DMX output options should be available for mapping.
Solution
To manually update the .inf file:
- Go to C:\Program Files\ETC\HogPC\drivers\gadget
- Right click on the gadget.inf file and select install.
- Once installed, start Hog PC and DMX output to the widget should be available.
