Delay in Hog 4 PC

Symptoms/Issue

Everything in Hog 4 PC seems to be lagging, including button commands. DMX output may be choppy or have a delay as well.

Description/Explanation of Issue

1. Firewall is on on the computer
2. Artnet outputs are enabled when artnet is not in use
3. Multiple network adapters are enabled on the computer
4. Visualizer stream might be running if not in use
5. Hog 4 PC and computer are not up to date
6. Computer has other applications running at the same time
7. Not using a computer with the right specifications

Fix/Solution

Each solution corresponds to a description of issue 

1. Disable Windows Firewall
2. Disable Artnet outputs
   1. Open the network window
   2. Click on the Processor and press Settings at the top of the window
   3. Select the Outputs tab on the left
   4. Click on the red "X" on the right of each output to disable Artnet output from that universe
3. Disable all network adapters other than the Ethernet
4. Disable the "visualizer stream" if not sending to visualizer
   1. Go to Hog 4 start screen,
   2. Press Settings
   3. Uncheck "Run Visualizer Stream"
5. Ensure the Computer is up to date on
   1. Hog4 PC software 
   2. Drivers
   3. Operating system
6. Ensure Computer is not running any other processes other than Hog4 PC
   1. Quit any other applications 
   2. Restart computer
7. Ensure the computer exceeds the minimum specifications for Hog4 PC
   1. Operating System:
      1. Windows Vista (32/64-bit / SP2 or greater) Hog 4 PC 3.11.0 and below
      2. Windows 7 (32/64-bit / SP1 or greater) Hog 4 PC 3.11.0 and below
      3. Windows 8/8.1 (32/64-bit) Hog 4 PC 3.11.0 and below
      4. Windows10 (32/64-bit) Hog 4 PC 3.12.0 and above
   2. Hardware :
      1. Processor minimum spec: Dual Core 1.7Ghz or faster
      2. Memory minimum spec: 2GB minimum
      3. Hard Drive minimum spec: 5GB of free hard drive space
