Red text appeared during a system restore on an Axon HD and Axon HD Pro

Symptoms/Issue

During a system restore, red text appeared and the system restore failed.

Description/Explanation of Issue

The SSD was not found during the process.

Fix/Solution

  1. Try the restore again. 
  2. Remake the USB restore stick and try the restore again.
  3. Make sure the SSD is connected.
  4. If the SSD is new and not provided by High End Systems, the partition table is not set up properly. Make sure the SSD has 2 partitions.
  5. Clone another Axon HD/HD Pro drive and then run the system restore again
