SolaWash Pro 2000 vs SolaWash 2000
Symptoms/Issue
SolaWash Pro 2000 was rebranded as the SolaWash 2000 in 2016 following High End System's acquisition by ETC. Fixtures prior to 2016 were designed with color mixing wheels for cyan, magenta, yellow and CTO and will be labeled as SolaWash Pro 2000 (unless rebranded in the field). Fixtures manufactured after 2016 and labeled as SolaWash 2000 will have color mixing flags for cyan, magenta, yellow and CTO.
Description/Explanation of Issue
A design change was made to the existing SolaWash Pro 2000 color mixing design to improve color mixing and to create a tighter variance between each fixture. Both the SolaWash Pro 2000 and SolaWash 2000 exist in the field.
Fix/Solution
The DMX channel count will be exactly the same between both versions of Wash 2000 and use the same console profile and software updates.
