Syrcadia Remote not working
Symptoms/Issue
Syrcadia webpage not sowing up on Phone as a romote.
Description/Explanation of Issue
Check that phome is on WAPS wiFi network.
Check that WAP LAN is the same RANYTOCH or PC.
IF Syrcadia PC remote web page is not showing up on phone . This is usually caused by the firewall settings in you PC not allowing RDM discovery to pass.
Fix/Solution
- Go to windows menu and type Firewall
- Click on Windows Defender Firewall.
- Click on "Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall"
- Make sure Public is checked for Syrcadia, This will disable the firewall for Syrcadia for Public allowing RDM discovery to pass.
Note: If you have third party firewalls like Norton, AVG, McAffee,etc. You will have to disable there as well.
