Custom Fixtures in Mosaic Designer 2

When programming with Mosaic, you may require a fixture profile that's not listed in the library. There are three options:

  1. If your fixture is a simple LED (e.g. RGB(W)(A), Cold/Warm), see if it has a mode which matches one of the LEDs in the Generic category
  2. Create the fixture yourself, using the built-in editor. Search Mosaic Help for "Custom Fixtures" for instructions on how to do this
  3. Ask ETC to create the fixture - please be aware that it could take up to a week for the fixture file to be created.

When you next open Mosaic designer you will find the fixture has been added to the fixture library. You can then drop it onto your plan to use within your show. Please note that if you have already used the fixture in a show this new personality will not replace them. To update your show to use this new version of the fixture please do the following:

Open your show in Mosaic designer
Go to the Setup tab and select the fixtures you want to update.
Click the "Reset to Defaults" button in the bottom right of the window, then Yes to "Are you sure".
