Removing Images from a Mosaic Touchscreen Config
Issue
High resolution images can cause operational issue on Mosaic touchscreens, particularly on older MTPC variants.
Description
Images on touchscreen should be no larger than the resolution of the hardware itself.
Legacy MTPC/MTS units have a maximum resolution of 480 x 272.
M-TS5 units have a maximum resolution of 800 x 480.
M-TS8 units have a maximum resolution of 1024 X 768.
Image Removal
You must be running a Mosaic 2.14.4 or greater to remove button images from a config.
Identify the type of image you are removing, images are generally classified as either a Background image or a Button Image.
Background Images
Background Images are removed via the 'Theme Editor Button' in top of the interface
In the theme editor selecting the image you wish to remove and click the green round remove button located in the lower left corner.
Once all desired images have been removed, click 'Done' and re-save the config.
Button Images
Button images are removed within the Interface editing tab.
Selecting the button whose image you need to remove and click the green round remove button.
Note that if this image is used on other buttons throughout the config, this action will remove it from all buttons that use the image.
Once all needed images have been removed, re-save the configuration and re-upload.
