Can a Unison DRd dimming engine from one rack be used in another rack if they have different processors? i.e. If the rack the dimming engine is coming from has a SmartLink ACP (Architectural Control Processor) in it, will the dimming engine work in a rack with an Echo ACP or Paradigm ACP?
Answer
Yes it can be used with any of the three ACP types. Dimming engines are processor agnostic. The only thing to keep in mind is you do not want to swap dimming engines if one is 120v and the other is 277v, but like voltages will work.
