Mutex Lock Failed error when accessing P-CCS web UI

Issue

I'm trying to access the web UI of my Paradigm Central Control Server (P-CCS), but I get the following error 'boost: mutex lock failed in pthread_mutex_lock: Invalid argument' and cannot access the web UI after that.:

Explanation of Issue

This error occurs when a mutex (short for Mutual Exclusion) used by the operating system has failed to be locked by a thread which requires exclusive access to that information. Unfortunately in this instance it block access to the web UI.

Solution

At this time there is not any software update or patch that can be applied to permanently resolve this, but power cycling the P-CCS will get the web UI working again. Simply tap the power button on the front of the unit and the power LED will begin flashing. When the power LED is no longer lit the unit is powered off. Tap the power button once more to turn it back on. The power LED will flash during the boot process, and once the LED is solid blue it is fully booted.

If you encounter this issue, it is also good to let ETC Technical Services know it occurred.
