P-TS7 Comms Failure displaying on Battery Status Indicator Last updated Save as PDF Symptoms/Issue The battery status indicator on the "About" page of the LCD displays "Comms failure" instead of a battery percentage. Description/Explanation of Issue This occurs when the battery charging IC and the coprocessor are not communicating correctly. Fix/Solution This is a hardware failure with the battery charging IC inside of the touch screen. The component is a 20pin QFN that requires surface mount repair. Please contact ETC technical support.
