Fixture Model Origin Default by Fixture Type
As of Augment3d Version 1.3.0
Conventional FixturesConventional fixtures have their origin at the expected yoke attachment point of the fixture. This can mean that graphically, the fixture appears to be embedded in the pipe rather than having the yoke hang the fixture down below the pipe when focused. |
Strip FixturesStrip fixtures have their origin at the center of the strip and in line with the hanging position of the fixture. |
Moving Head FixturesMoving head fixtures have their origin at the center of the base of the fixture in line with the hanging position of the fixture. They often have a negative Z hang to focus offset to account for the length of the yoke to the tilt axis of the moving head. |
Moving Mirror FixturesMoving mirror fixture support was added in Augment3d version 1.2.1 Moving Mirror fixtures have their origin at the expected yoke attachment point of the fixture. This can mean that graphically, the fixture appears to be embedded in the pipe rather than having the yoke hang the fixture down below the pipe when focused |

Moving Mirror AccessoriesMoving mirror accessory support was added in Augment3d version 1.3.0. Moving mirror accessory models have their origin at the front point of the Source 4 fixture model. This point is currently fixed and thus the true origin point of the multi part fixture would be the Source 4 model's origin point. |
