Reseating the RAM on Win 10 Element 2

Opening the Console
Follow the steps listed in the article How to Open an Element 2 (includes instructions for Element 2, Ion Xe, and Ion Xe 20)
Reseating the RAM
- With the cover off, locate the stick of RAM.
- Open the white tabs on both sides of the RAM as shown below.
- Pull RAM straight up.
- Inspect RAM and contact points for damage.
If the gold edge shown below is tarnished, take a pink pencil eraser and gently scrub the tarnish off then proceed to step 5.
If the RAM is damaged, contact ETC Tech Support. - If there is no damage, insert RAM back into connector ensuring it lines up. You will know the RAM is fully seated when the white tabs latch back into their unopened position.
To close the console back up, repeat the steps of Opening the Console in reverse.
