Eos Programming and Fader Wings Should Not Be Connected via KVM Switch
Issue
Eos Programming and Fader Wings should not be connected to Eos Family Consoles, ETCnomad Puck, PC or Mac via a KVM Switch.
Explanation of Issue
KVM Switches are designed to allow multiple devices to share keyboard, video and mouse connections. These devices can often be USB connected and disconnected seamlessly. Fader and Programming wings however require updates from the console for communication. Their loss will result in the Eos programming attempting to reconnect to them. When this happens over and over it can cause the Eos program to crash. Since a crash can occur if a KVM Switch is used ETC says you cannot use these wings with a KVM Switcher.
