An error (-5006: 0x800700b7) has occurred while running the setup

Issue

When installing ETCnomad Eos Family software, a message appears during installation saying "An error (-5006: 0x800700b7) has occurred while running the setup"

Explanation of Issue

This error message is reporting that the installer doesn't have the appropriate permissions to install all of the components (drivers, firmware, etc.) it needs to install in the appropriate locations.

Solution

Click OK on the dialog and close the installer
Right-Click on the installer and choose "Run As Administrator"
Acknowledge the elevated access request and follow the installer prompts as normal
