Console Time Changes After Setting It

Issue

When I set the time on my Eos Family console, it holds but then will change back to the incorrect time soon thereafter.

Explanation

This is an issue that sometimes comes up when your console is connected to a Network. There is likely a time server on that network that is handing out the time to the console and other network devices. There are two ways to solve this issue. If you know the device that is serving as the time server, you could correct the time that it is set to, thus correcting the time given to the console. If you do not know that device acting as a time server, or you prefer the console not listen to a time server, you can follow the steps below.

Solution

Exit the Eos software by selecting "Exit" in the Browser.
Select "Settings", then "Network" in the top-right corner.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Time Service (SNTP)" section.
Un-check the Enable box.
From here you can set the time in General Settings and select "Accept".
