Rush Repair Information

General Information

When a repair is necessary on a short timetable, ETC generally prefers to offer loaner equipment to the customer. However, in cases where a loaner is not available or not practical, ETC may be able to offer a rush repair (also called rush RMA) instead.

ETC does not guarantee a specific turnaround time for a rush repair; it simply means that when we receive the equipment at the factory, it will jump the queue of other waiting equipment and be worked on by the next available technician.

Rush repairs do not automatically include expedited return shipping. Like all repairs, ground service will be used unless an expedited shipping service is specified by the dealer. Any expedited return shipping charges will be added to the repair bill.

As with all repairs, the customer or dealer is responsible for getting their equipment to ETC for repair. It may be necessary to use expedited inbound shipping in order to meet the customer's timetable; likewise, these shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer or dealer. The inbound shipment must be clearly marked with the RMA number in order to guarantee prompt processing of the repair.
