Revolution DMX Chip Replacement

Symptoms/Issue

If your Revolution has become unresponsive to a known good DMX signal, it may be necessary to replace the DMX chip

Fix/Solution

1. Lay the Fixture down on the base of the head unit. fixture should always be set on the metal surfaces of the fixture, rotate the head accordingly, with the upper enclosure towards you.
2. Remove the rubber feet
3. Remove the MCC Tray.
4. locate the DMX chip (indicated in red below)

5. Swap chip with ETC part number Z1458-F, making sure to orient the new chip the same direction as the old one using the recessed dot on pin 1.
