Response 32 Out and A32 Out

The Response 32 out was a compact 32 channel digital to analog (de-multiplexer) unit. The standard 32 out accepted DMX-512 only; the A32 out could also receive AMX.

LED OPERATION

The top LED is DMX input status. Solid ON is Receiving Data. Blinking is Invalid Data or No Data
The bottom LED is +5V and should be solid on

TROUBLESHOOTING

Channels 20-24 all turn on together

RP2 is likely cracked in half or failed. OpAmps could also have failed

Outputs are flickering

C4 is probably failing

No output on normal, but works fine with self-test

DIP switches are probably not set correctly. Be sure DIP switch 3 is down

If DIP switches are correct, possibly a bad DMX chip or DMX opto-isolator
U2 is DMX chip, U22 is opto-isolator. There are no spare internal DMX chips

DMX Status LED is solid on regardless of DMX being plugged in or not

C4 failing. Outputs are also very likely flickering
