Relays Do Not Properly Follow Emergency State Toggles When DMX is Not Present
Issue
The Foundry Mini Panel goes into Emergency via the UL924 contact input. Afterwards relays will not respond.
Explanation of Issue
This was discovered as a software bug in firmware version 2.0.0.9.0.4. This issue only appears if there is no incoming DMX signal after the panel goes into emergency. This causes the panel to lock up and will not respond to DMX after it is re-applied. This can be resolved temporarily by resetting or power cycling the Foundry Mini Panel with DMX applied. This will re-sync the relays to the correct state and the panel will function properly.
Solution
The permanent solution for this bug is to update the firmware of your Mini Panel to v2.0.1.9.0.5 or higher. To update, you will need to use the UpdaterAtor software.
