CEM+ Stops Listening to sACN Data Until Restarted
Issue
My CEM+ will listen to sACN data for 5-15 minutes, and then will no longer see incoming sACN until it is restarted. This behavior repeats indefinitely.
Explanation of Issue
CEM+ processors do not interact correctly with a IGMPv3 querier on network switches, resulting in loss of sACN data after a short period of time after boot.
The solution is to change the IGMP querier in your network to IGMPv2. If you have a Cisco switch that shipped as part of an ETC system and are experiencing these issues, contact ETC Technical Services for assistance in changing to IGMPv2.
