Setting Levels on a CEM3 Changes Levels in Multiple Racks

Symptoms/Issue

Using the Test menu to set the level of a circuit in a rack sets the level for that circuit number in multiple racks.

Description/Explanation of Issue

The CEM3 Test menu is designed to let you set local levels as well as levels in remote racks on the same network. As long as multiple racks have the same System Number (set in the Rack Setup menu), they can control each other's circuits. If two or more racks are present on the same network, and they share both a System Number and circuit numbers, setting a level at one circuit will set the level for all circuits with the same number in the system.

Fix/Solution

  1. Assign a unique circuit number for each circuit in the system or
  2. Set a different system number for each rack with matching circuit numbers.
