DP8000 fans, unit seems hot.

Symptoms/Issue

The DP8000s do get warm to the touch, this is normal. The fans are temperature regulated. There are three fans inside, the center fan is usually not running, this is normal.

Description/Explanation of Issue

The fans can be monitored from a console.

Fix/Solution

1. Open the Network window.
2. Highlight the DP8000 and press Settings.
3. In the new window select the Diagnostics tab.
4. Select Hardware, then Sensors. Here the fans speed can be monitored.
