How to Record Presets on Unison CME, CMEd, or CMEi

Issue

The steps below will walk you through re-recording a preset using your Unison Processor.

Steps

  1. Set the look you want to record.
    1. This can be done either by using an external lighting control console, Unison stations, or Using the "Zones" menu to set zones to specific levels.
  2. Press and hold on the hidden "Unison Menu Activate" button called out in the diagram below until "MENU [Stat]" appears on the screen

  1. Press the down button until Menu [Arch] appears on the screen. Press Enter.

  1. Using the Up or Down buttons, navigate to [Setup] and press Enter.

  1. Once in the Setup menu, use the Up or Down buttons to navigate to [Presets] and press Enter.

  1. Using the Up or Down buttons, navigate to your desired room and press Enter.

  1. Using the Up or Down buttons, navigate to your desired preset and press Enter.

  1. Using the Up or Down buttons, navigate to [Record] and press Enter. This will snapshot the look created in step 1 as your selected preset.

Note that Legacy Unison only records DMX addresses patched to zones. These addresses were often limited to house light dimmer addresses, so other addresses may not be recordable using this method.
