ETC Recommended Network Switch and Wireless Access Point Configuration Guides

This article provides configuration guides for current and past network switches that have been installed as part of ETC lighting systems. The network switches that are currently shipping are at the top with the oldest shipping switches at the bottom. For a basic comparison between switch models, visit this article.

24-port Network Switches ordered through ETC will ship configured. These documents are for reference. It is recommended to contact ETC Technical Services at 1-800-688-4116 with any questions related to modification of an existing configuration.

For switch models matching those which ETC currently ships, or has previously shipped, ETC can provide switch configurations, but offers no hardware Technical Support if they were not purchased through ETC.

For switch models which ETC has never shipped, ETC does not provide configurations or hardware Technical Support. For questions about how switches provided by others should be configured see the Network Design article.

Cisco SG350-28P

Below are instructions for configuring an ETC supplied Cisco SG350-28P Ethernet Network Switch.

Cisco changed the password strength requirement with firmware 2.9.5.54. Thus the rev D instructions for firmware 2.9.5.54 include a slightly different password but otherwise is set up identically to the rev C instructions.
