How to import a CEM+ DIM file into Net3 Concert?
Issue
I'm trying to import a CEM+ into Net3 Concert. The file I'm importing is a DIM file, but there are no import options for that file type.
Explanation of Issue & Solution
A DIM file is a CEM+ system file created by the program DimSTAT. Net3 Concert isn't capable of importing a DIM file directory, since that file may have more than one rack in the configuration. In order to import racks contained in the DIM file, you need to open it in DimSTAT, choose the rack you want to import, then click on File > Export Sensor File, and provide a file name to save as either a XML or RAK file. You can then import that file directly to Concert, or you can import it for conversion to CEM3.
