How to Change Pathport sACN Universe Assignments

Issue

The default sACN universe assignment isn't what I want to have output on the Pathport® Gateways provided by ETC.

Explanation of Issue

Pathport Gatways provided by ETC output on sACN Universes 1-4 for Ports A-D respectively. To change the port assignments, Pathscape DMX Software | Pathway Connectivity is required.

Solution

The steps below are for reference only. For additional information or instruction on how to configure Pathport Gateways, please contact  Technical Support | Pathway Connectivity

1. Login to the ETC Security Domain

   Devices that have been configured for the ETC security domain will show the lock in amber and the "etc" name in the domain
   

   1. Navigate to the Security menu and choose "Log in..."
      
   2. Select the "etc" domain from the drop down menu if there is more than one domain present and enter the password "etc"
      
      1. Note: The number in parentheses following the domain name is the number of devices online in that security domain.
   3. Click Finish
   4. The padlock icon should turn green for devices in the "etc" security domain when successfully logged in
      
2. Navigate to the DMX Patch tab
   
3. If the desired universe is not present, add it to the table by clicking the Add Universes button
   
   1. Click Add Range
   2. Enter the Universe(s) desired
      
   3. Click OK when Finished
4. Check the box for the Port/Universe Mapping desired by double clicking on it
   
5. Send the changes to the Gateway from the Transaction Editor window
   

If the Transaction Editor window is not visible, navigate to the View>Windows>Transaction Editor menu to enable it
