GrandMA Control is Slow or Does not Work with Sensor3
Issue
GrandMA2 control products are unable to communicate with Sensor3 dimmers. The sensor dimmers either do not show that they have valid DMX or the output is very slow and fades are stepping.
Explanation of Issue
The issue seems to be due to a DMX timing issue between MA & ETC. Sensor3 uses timing at one end of the DMX standard and MA uses timing at the other end of the standard.
Fix/Solution
This issue can be worked around with the use of a DMX opto split or outputting over sACN/Art-net from the MA control system.
