How to Set Up Dimmer Doubling Multiplexing In Sensor Classic Rack

How do I enable and set up dimmer doubling Multiplex for circuits in my Sensor Classic rack?

Answer

The steps depend on what software version the CEM is running.

Steps

For software v3.X

1. From the Home screen, tap [Setup] 
2. Tap [1] for Dimmer and tap [Enter]
3. Tap the [Up] or [Down] arrow button or enter the number for the dimmer you want to adjust and tap [Enter]
4. Tap [>] until you reach the Mode page 
5. Tap the [Up] or [Down] arrow buttons until you get to DD and tap [Enter]
6. Repeat for any other dimmers you want to adjust.

For software v2.X

1. Enable MUX on the system level
   1. From the Home screen, tap [Setup] 
   2. Tap [3] for System and tap [Enter]
   3. Tap [>] until you reach the MUX page
   4. Tap the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select Enabled and tap [Enter]
2. Enable MUX on the DMX input port
   1. From the Home screen, tap [Setup] 
   2. Tap [2] for Rack and tap [Enter]
   3. Tap [>] until you reach the Port A MUX or Port B MUX page
      1. For this, you will need to know which port will be using DD
   4. Tap the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select Yes and tap [Enter]
3. Enable MUX on the dimmer(s)
   1. From the Home screen, tap [Setup] 
   2. Tap [1] for Dimmer and tap [Enter]
   3. Tap the [Up] or [Down] arrow button or enter the number for the dimmer you want to adjust and tap [Enter]
   4. Tap [>] until you reach the Mode page 
   5. Tap the [Up] or [Down] arrow buttons until you get to Multiplex and tap [Enter]
   6. Repeat for any other dimmers you want to adjust.
