Legacy Unison CMEd Does Not Respond to Newly Installed Incoming DMX

Issue

After adding DMX input that was not installed in the original system, the CMEd does not respond to the incoming signal. If the following conditions are true:

The DMX is installed on the correct card (the Arch option card with the In / Out headers).
Diagnostics -> Dimmers shows incoming values under Di for the relevant dimmers.
